For thousands of years the empire of Epicum and Lyria have been at war with each other.  The people of Epicum who are well-bred and very exact in their wording can’t stand the exaggerations of the Lyrians talking in verse, and vice versa: Lyria which likes splashing in poetic imagery hates the insipid Epicum. „ Because accurate truth has the biggest value in life!”—King Epic and Queen Prozetta claim.  To which King Poesis, ruler of Lyria, replies: „What do we care about facts and other suspicious things!  That which is beautiful is also true!”  However, the two kings who are getting tired of their long quarrel finally decide to bring peace to their countries by marrying off Princess Epica to Prince Lyra.  The wedding, though, ends in a scandal due to their mutual mistrust.  The war would continue had Lyra and Epica not fallen in love with each other. . .
